Match the voltage and connector before you buy

The line outside can still be down
Your battery keeps your router and ONT alive, but it cannot power the fibre distribution point in your street, the green cabinet, or the exchange further up. If the cut is wide enough to take those out, your broadband goes down the instant the power does, backup or not.
